Materials:

Crochet hook (K)7mm

Caron Big Cakes or similar weight/ply yarn (4 medium)

Ruler (1-2 inch high) *use the same ruler for all squares

tapestry/yarn needle for weaving in ends scissors

Abbreviations:

* Magic Circle (MC)

* Slip Stitch (SLST.)

* Chain (CH)

* Single Crochet (SC)

* Half Double Crochet (HDC)

* Double Crochet (DC)

* Triple Crochet (TC)

* Off Set Stitch (OSS)

(Make a DC in the marked stitch, yarn over, *(move the hook in between the space of the DC and
the previous DC. yarn over, pull up a loop) * repeat 2 times.Yarn over. Leaving 2 loops on the hook,
pull through the loops. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops)

* Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC)

(Yarn over, working at the front of your work, place the hook under the marked stitch, yarn over, pull
up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2, yarn over, pull through 2. )

* Back Post Double Crochet (BPDC)

(Yarn over, working at the back of your work, place the hook under the marked stitch, yarn over, pull
up a loop, yarn over, pull .through 2, yarn over, pull through 2.)

* Back Loop Only (BLO) Only crochet a stitch in the back loop.

Cluster F**K

Pattern:

Row 1: MC, *(CH3, 3DC, CH1,*(4DC, CH1) *X3, slst to top chain 3 (16DC)

Row 2: CH3, 3DC behind ch3 in ch1 space, *skip 2 stitches, SC in next stitch, skip 1,
(4DC CH1 4DC) in ch1 space repeat around, 4DC, CH1, slst to top of ch3 (32DC - 9SC per side)
Row 3: CH3, 2DC behind ch3 in ch1 space, *((2DC CH1 2DC) in SC, (3DC CH1 3DC) in CH1 space,
*repeat around to last corner, 3DC, CH1, slst to top of ch3. (40DC - 10DC per side)
Row 4: CH3, DC behind ch3 in ch1 space, *((3DC in space between cluster, ch 1, SC in ch1 space,
ch1, 3DC in space between cluster, ch1 (2DC CH1 2DC) in corner), * repeat around to last corner,
2DC, CH1,  slst to top of ch3. (40DC - 1SC per side)


Row 5: CH3, DC behind, BLO - *((DC next 13 stitches (Skip the ch1 space before and after the SC),
(2DC CH1 2DC in corner)) * repeat around to last corner, 2DC, CH1, slst to top ch3  (17DC per side)
Row 6: CH3, 1DC behind, BLO - *((DC next 4 stitches, ch2, skip 1 stitch, SC, ch 2, skip 2 stitches,
(2DC ch1 2DC), ch2, skip 2 stitches, SC, ch2, skip 1 stitch, DC next 4 stitches, (2DC ch1 2DC  
in corner)), *repeat around to last corner, 2DC, ch1, slst to top of ch3 (72 stitches - 16 DC, 2 SC per
side)
Row 7: CH2, 2HDC behind ch2 in ch1 space, *((HDC next 6 stitches, ch1, DC in SC stitch, Ch1,
(3HDC ch1 3HDC) in the ch1 space of the cluster, ch1, DC in SC stitch, ch1, HDC next 6 stitches,
(3HDC ch1 3HDC in corner), *repeat around to last corner, 3HDC, ch1, slst to top of chain 3.
