(US) 5 Colors Dazzling CAL Part 1

Abbreviations:

(MC) Magic circle
(CH) Chain
(SL.ST) Slip stitch
(SC) Single crochet
(HDC) Half double crochet
(DC) Double crochet
(TC) Triple crochet


Part 1 of the CAL
  1. Color 1, MC, 8 SC in the MC, SL.ST in the 1st SC.
  2. CH1, 2SC in every stitch, SL.ST in the first SC. Fasten off.
  3. Color 2: CH3, HDC, SC, HDC, *( DC, HDC, SC, HDC). * Repeat till end. SL.ST in the top of CH3, fasten off.
  4. Color 3: CH1, SC, HDC, DC, TC, CH4. *( SC, HDC, DC, TC, CH4) *Repeat till end. Sl.ST in the 1st SC. Fasten off
  5. Color 4: SL.ST in the CH4 space, ( 2SC, 2HDC in the CH4 space), 1DC in the next 2 stitches, 1TC in the next 2 stitches, CH4, *( 1SC in the next 2 stitches, 1HDC in the next 2 stitches, 1DC in the next 2 stitches, 1TC in the next 2 stitches, CH4) *Repeat till end. SL.ST in the 1st SC. Fasten off
  6. Color 5: SL.ST in the CH4 space, ( 3SC, 1HDC in the CH4 space), 1HDC in the next 2 stitches, 1DC in the next 3 stitches, 1TC in the next 3 stitches, CH4, *( 1SC in the next 3 stitches, 1HDC in the next 3 stitches, 1DC in the next 3 stitches, 1TC in the next 3 stitches, CH4) *Repeat till end. SL.ST in the 1st SC. Fasten off
  7. Color 4: SL.ST in the CH4 space, ( 4SC, in the CH4 space), 1HDC in the next 4 stitches, 1DC in the next 4 stitches, 1TC in the next 4 stitches, CH4, *( 1SC in the next 4 stitches, 1HDC in the next 4 stitches, 1DC in the next 4 stitches, 1TC in the next 4 stitches, CH4) *Repeat till end. SL.ST in the 1st SC. Fasten off
  8. Color 3: SL.ST in the CH4 space, ( 4SC, in the CH4 space), 1SC in the next stitch, 1HDC in the next 5 stitches, 1DC in the next 5 stitches, 1TC in the next 5 stitches, CH4, *( 1SC in the next 5 stitches, 1HDC in the next 5 stitches, 1DC in the next 5 stitches, 1TC in the next 5 stitches, CH4) *Repeat till end. SL.ST in the 1st SC. Fasten off
  9. Color 2: SL.ST in the CH4 space, ( 4SC, in the CH4 space), 1SC in the next 2 stitches, 1HDC in the next 6 stitches, 1DC in the next 6 stitches, 1TC in the next 6 stitches, CH4, *( 1SC in the next 6 stitches, 1HDC in the next 6 stitches, 1DC in the next 6 stitches, 1TC in the next 6 stitches, CH4) *Repeat till end. SL.ST in the 1st SC. Fasten off
  10. Color 1: SL.ST in the CH4 space, ( 4SC, in the CH4 space), 1SC in the next 3 stitches, 1HDC in the next 7 stitches, 1DC in the next 7 stitches, 1TC in the next 7 stitches, CH4, *( 1SC in the next 7 stitches, 1HDC in the next 7 stitches, 1DC in the next 7 stitches, 1TC in the next 7 stitches, CH4) *Repeat till end. SL.ST in the 1st SC. Fasten off
  11. Color 2: SL.ST in the CH4 space, ( 4SC, in the CH4 space), 1SC in the next 4 stitches, 1HDC in the next 8 stitches, 1DC in the next 8 stitches, 1TC in the next 8 stitches, CH4, *( 1SC in the next 8 stitches, 1HDC in the next 8 stitches, 1DC in the next 8 stitches, 1TC in the next 8 stitches, CH4) *Repeat till end. SL.ST in the 1st SC. Fasten off
  12. Color 3: SL.ST in the CH4 space, ( 4SC, in the CH4 space), 1SC in the next 5 stitches, 1HDC in the next 9 stitches, 1DC in the next 9 stitches, 1TC in the next 9 stitches, CH4, *( 1SC in the next 9 stitches, 1HDC in the next 9 stitches, 1DC in the next 9 stitches, 1TC in the next 9 stitches, CH4) *Repeat till end. SL.ST in the 1st SC. Fasten off
  13. Color 4: SL.ST in the CH4 space, ( 4SC, in the CH4 space), 1SC in the next 6 stitches, 1HDC in the next 10 stitches, 1DC in the next 10 stitches, 1TC in the next 10 stitches, CH4, *( 1SC in the next 10 stitches, 1HDC in the next 10 stitches, 1DC in the next 10 stitches, 1TC in the next 10 stitches, CH4) *Repeat till end. (US) Dazzling CAL 2 colors (whole) pattern

The CAL has ended! I have seen some lovely creations coming by. If you haven't made the Dazzling shrug yet, here's the whole pattern. Join the  Facebookgroup  for questions and support! Stitch markers can come in handy Sizes: The pattern has been designed in a way that any size (S to XXXL) can be made. Put your arms up ( Like your an airplane) and let someone else measure from elbow to elbow. That's all you need to know to make your own custom dazzling shrug! You'll be using these measurements in the 3rd part of the CAL. At the end of part 3, your "square" will be elbow to elbow. The Yarn: The yardage is based upon the number of skeins we needed for the sizes. We recommend to use yarn suitable for hook size F/5 and G/6.
