(US) Classic men's scarf

I have been asked to make a scarf for a man. PFF..where to start? I looked at and tried lots of stitches and got a winner! Moss stitch! It's so elegant and warm. A gorgeous 'no fuzz' scarf for the men in your life :)
 


I used 7 skeins of Lana gross a Bingo 001 and a 5mm crochet book.

If you can't get your hands on Lana grossa, make it in the yard you love!
Lana grossa is a worsted weight yarn, suitable for hooks 4.5 to 5.5 mm.
I used 350 grams, which is 560 meters.

Let's get started!



1: Chain 39, Single crochet in the 3rd chain from the hook. * chain 1, skip 1 stitch, single crochet in the next stitch. * repeat till the end.
2: Chain 2, turn, single crochet in the chain 1 spaces. * chain 1, single crochet in the next chain 1 spaces. * repeat till the end. Make sure you end the row with a single crochet in between the last single crochet and chain2 of the beginning of the previous row.
3: repeat row 2 till you reach the desired length.



Fasten of and weave in the ends.

(US) Dazzling CAL 2 colors (whole) pattern

The CAL has ended! I have seen some lovely creations coming by. If you haven't made the Dazzling shrug yet, here's the whole pattern. Join the  Facebookgroup  for questions and support! Stitch markers can come in handy Sizes: The pattern has been designed in a way that any size (S to XXXL) can be made. Put your arms up ( Like your an airplane) and let someone else measure from elbow to elbow. That's all you need to know to make your own custom dazzling shrug! You'll be using these measurements in the 3rd part of the CAL. At the end of part 3, your "square" will be elbow to elbow. The Yarn: The yardage is based upon the number of skeins we needed for the sizes. We recommend to use yarn suitable for hook size F/5 and G/6. Colour 1 is the colour with which you will make the edging Colour 2 is the 2nd color of the shrug Size S Colour 1: 985 yards        (900 meters) Colour 2: 739 yards        (675 meters)              Size M
